Hello, hello again! Long time no write...Well we are well into summer break and enjoying it as a family! I actually had 2 mini vacays!
We began with our annual Naughty Teachers weekend. Last year we tore it up in vegas and this year we decided to stay here in Phoenix at the Point! Dad held it down at home with the girls..poor guy....
well in a you-had-to-be-there fashion, we had a male escort (i.e sexy caketopper man) as our weekend escort. I shall call him Fernando...we took him everywhere and he stole the show. Now some of you may be thinking 'ya'll have lost it' but as I warned...you really had to be there! We relaxed by the pool, sipping STRONG-ass drinks and telling dirty little secrets...S your story still kicks any of ours asses! Did you know that the lazy river at the Point (the rapids section) also doubles as the latest cosmetic procedure? Again..you had to be there...
My next vacay was off to Boston (sands Kids again! I have a wonderful husbad!) to visit one of my best friends from the ASU dayz! In Boston...I fell in love with that city! There I ate my very first (damnit..alright also my second) cannoli at Mike's Pastreys in the North End (don't tell my trainer!) I had no IDEA cannolis were not only filled with yummy cheese....but yummy SWEETENED cheese! What an amazing combination! We did walk off those sweets, the pizza, beers and AMAZING Italian food at CIBOS because you truly walk EVERYWHERE in Boston! I always thought I would end up in a true city like that...Its crazy to think of ways to actually, truly get my family out there! To be continued...
Well now its time to start planning my oldest's 2nd year bday! Hard to believe I have a true toddler and an 8-month old! they are keeping all of us busy...into everything and listening to nothing!
Go CELTICS!!!

Now you see it, now you don't!!
Today was quite an eventful day for us. The girls and I met Michelle and Kailey at the zoo. The sun was barely out, yet I still decided to put sunscreen on Sanaah (I'll get back to the sunscreen later) The hightlight of our animal visit came rather unexpectantly and well lasted about 1 minute.
Sanaah was most interested in the baboons (its just so facinating that they have such big, blue butts!) A small but eager crowd gathered as the agressive male decidedly plopped himself down right in front of us. Cameras were snapping away and kids were giggling. Without warning...Mr' Alpha male whips out his skinny, long penis and begins stroking himself (with 2 paws!) We erupt in pure astonishment and embarrassment as this baboon is going to town. "Mommy..why is he doing that?" a young 7-8 yr old asks "ummm..thats just what monkeys do honey" I was so transfixed/embarrassed that I forgot to run and get my camera...damn..another photo opp missed!!
Shae and I have this knack for catching animals in their most intimate moments...a few years back at the zoo, shae and I interrupted the OSTRICHES goin at it. The scence was naughty and well I never knew an ostrich's penis was so big...I still shudder at that memory...
back to the sunscreen...so as I was walking out of the zoo, about 4 hours later..I notice that my wedding ring is not on...I took it off in the morning when I was applying sunscreen to Sanaah....well anyways...I go into panic mode and re-traced my steps, checked at lost and found and then I had a mini-breakdown in front of a lady and her kids who were helping me look for it. To no avial...my ring is gone....I LOST my wedding ring guys!!! I filed a police report and pray that some jack ass is dumb enough to pawn it...
So I cried most of the afternoon and then decided to try to cheer myself up. Warning: the prescription I am about to reveal is not intended for everyone...
so Shae suggests that we do the tattoo ring thing and you know what..I was down. So the fix for my retarded and embarrassing actions included a #2 at McDonalds AND a hot-fudge sundae AND a purple star tattoo behind my right ear...yes...you read correctly...I got another tattoo! We are going back to do the ring thing once we decide on a design.
Now you may be thinking...tattoos..ring tattoos..how gay and so Pamela Anderson...and to you I say...worrying about the size of a diamond is gay...I was caught up in the glitz of my ring. By having it on sunddenly I was a better person, more confident. Through the tears, I came to realize its just a thing...an expensive thing...but nonetheless...still a thing. My marriage is not suddenly over because now I dont have a rock on my hand. Im sad, yes, but not ruined.
By the way...do they still make that diamond-ique jewelry?

If blogging was a grade, I'd get an 'F'
Okay...so I basically SUCK at this whole thing! In defense, we have been experiencing technological differences and I couldn't download pics off my new memory card ...thanks to some sound advice from Brandy, they are now on CD and ready to roll!
Happy 30th birthday to all you ladies who have already crossed over and soon to be happy birthday to the youngins who are just around the corner! I have been doing some research about fine line diminishers...crows feet are no joke!! Any beauty tips? pass them my way!
Well I love sanaah to death but honestly...I've had to keep myself from leaping off our mardi-gras balcony...she is into EVERYTHING!!! (Note: see picture of Sanaah covered in toothpaste) Okay so I can appreciate her "curious" mind but I think she's causing me to lose mine! She's also pulling the jealous/clingy thing and whenever I'm holding the baby, she fights like mad to get me to hold her too!
Samira is rolling all over the place and even took a header off the couch already! I felt like a failed parent at that moment! She's so smiley like Sanaah and strong too! When she giggles it just melts my heart...she's a ticklish little turkey!
Enjoy the pics!

Happy Presidents day!
Well hello all! thanks for the responses regarding my lost pictures! Seriously...I will pay for printing for all of those who send pics....I just really want to have those memories back. There are so many life experiences I can teach my girls through those pics...you know like don't agree to be the driver when going to Mexico (for all of those not there on that trip...my car was stolen....but we got it back.....completely stripped and cleaned...but in one piece!) The picture recovery will be a long process but very neccessary!
Happy to say we are all well again and I've put back on the 3 pounds I lost puking...damn....
We are enjoying the day off and I am looking forward to Spring Break! You know I do love the teacher schedule....and for all of you who don't understand what our daily routine is...PLEASE believe we work very hard...what summers off...not really. Most of us have to work a second job just to make it. I love teaching but I don't know if I will stay in the profession for 10 more years. We shall see what happens........

worst week ever...
Well hello all! This last week has been so horrible! The kids both got some kind of deep Amazon-jungle bug and have been throwing up and pooping all over the place! Seriously I've washed our comforter 4 times already this week! It's a sad, sad thing when they are throwing up and crying and you can't do anything to comfort their rumbling bellies except hug them and talk gently to them.
To make matters worse, I was looking for all my pictures and photo albums and realized they didn't even make it to this house!! I ripped the place apart and wound up with zilch! I am REALLY upset about this...as of now I have no pictures of our rowdy Spring Break trip to Mexico...no pics of my wordly travels...none of my 21st birthday! What is most upsetting is that in 20 some odd years..I have nothing to show my girls what NOT to do (like 'drink' the tequila worm). it's been a bad weekend.....

Not so great at updating this thang....
Hello all! So the question was raised: 'what's the point of having a blog if I never use it?' and yes....I realize that it's pretty much pointless...In doing this blog I was excited yet it added yet another thing to do and well with two crazy kids, and just life....you know.........WELL I pledge to do better so sit back, get comfy and be ready to be informed!
The parents were in town to support their Alma matter (WSU Cougars) oh yeah and to see the grandbabies....although I think with all the success and anticipaion of a seed to the sweet-16 bball tourney...basketball was maybe just a tiny bit more important then the grandkids.....just a smidge if you know my parents and their ferver for the Cougs! So We all went (yeah kids too) to the ASU/WSU game. Sanaah and myself were decked to the nines in ASU gear and suddenly Shae was cheering for WSU! Traitor! I yelled my lungs out for the Devils in a sea of Coug fans and we nearly pulled off the win. Final score: ASU 55-WSU 56!! It was hilarious to see Sanaah dancing to the band and she of course won over the hearts of everyone around us with her beautiful twinkle! Looking around at all the out-of-state Coug fans, we realized just how wonderful it would be to just get up and travel with the team all over the country...ahhh to be older and successfull......
Well I hope February treats you well! Get those taxes done!

Thanks for visiting....
Hello there everyone! I appreciate ya'll who stopped on over to check out my blog. I feel so tech saavy (is that spelled right?) Oh and Kinz, no offense to myspace...maybe eventually I'll make the switch!
well for all us teachers out there, our Christmas break is coming to an end (big sigh!) I'm actually supposed to be lesson planning but as you can see I'm procrastinating just a smudge! Everyone (including dad) is napping so I'm enjoying time to actually sit.
Ya know B.K (before kids) I would hear interviews with famous women about how they stay in shape by just running after their kids all day and I'd think "yeah that and your personal chef, trainer and so on..." Well P.K (post kids) I can say that you do definitely stay on your feet all day and well I'm hoping that lugging two monsters up and down the stairs will finally give me that six pack I've been craving all along....okay so is anyone really buying that? naaah...but it's always nice to dream right?!
Happy weekend adventures!
